L. Whitney Howerton, RDH, MDH, Clinical Education Manager

Whitney has shown her dedication to the dental hygiene profession through multiple leadership roles on a local, state, and national level. She recently completed her Masters in Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Whitney worked full time as a clinical and didactic instructor teaching a wide variety of courses including local anesthesia, head, neck and dental anatomy, special patient care, and advanced instrumentation. Whitney has been featured in familiar dental hygiene publications like Access and Dimensions of Dental Hygiene. She is a past recipient of the Esther Wilkins Future Leader award and a proud member of the ADHA and ADEA. Whitney enjoys speaking professionally in many settings and is eager to share her love for American Eagle Instruments with you! 

DeeAnne Ashcroft, BSDH, MPH

DeeAnne graduated from Loma Linda University in 1974 with a BSDH, and completed a Master's in Public Health from her Alma Mater 10 years later.  With 44 years in the field, DeeAnne has had the opportunity to develop expert clinical skills in a broad range of clinical practice settings, including General Practice, Prosthodontics and six 

From 2008-2015, DeeAnne achieved one of her lifetime career goals when she became Dental Hygiene Program Director for Carrington College-Portland. In additional to administrative duties, DeeAnne enjoyed teaching the didactic courses of General & Oral Pathology, Community Dental Health, Dental Specialties, Scientific Methods, Radiology and PreClinic.  DeeAnne now provides temp coverage for clinical dental hygiene and has enthusiastically embraced her most recent role with American Eagle Instruments, as a Clinical Educator. 

Over the years DeeAnne has been active in various leaderships positions, at the state and component level of the American Dental Hygienists' Association, along with membership in and currently serves as President of the Marion County Dental Hygiene Study Club.  

Stacy Deemer, RDH

Stacy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. She later furthered her education by earning a local anesthesia license. She has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. Most of those years working in pediatric dentistry and several years in cosmetic and general dentistry. She also spent some time in Germany working and learning laser therapy treatment. She has been a past Vice-President of the Northwestern PDHA and a current ADHA member. 

She is especially proud of being selected as the dental representative for Wellsville, a local television program, that reaches 100,000 households every Saturday morning on Fox 66. She volunteers regularly in the community and had been a participant of the “Wellsville Goes To School” program, teaching the students the importance of health and wellness. In 2013 Stacy was one of eight hygeinist nationwide to be honored with the Sunstar Award of Distinction. In September 2013, she was hired as the Northeastern Dental Hygiene Consultants for Sunstar Americas Incorporated.  Stacy has worked several trade show conventions educating on Sunstar products and the important role they aid in bringing health and wellness to patients. In 2014 she had been selected to represent American Eagle Instruments as their Clinical Educator. She has educated through various webinars and speaking events across the states. Currently she works for Nextlevel Practice as their Enrollment and Registration advisor. Educating dental teams on a step-by-step action plan that gets teams that gets teams and their patients healthier. She has made it her mission on implementing complete health in dental practices, bridging the oral-systemic link and creating overall health and wellness for patients.  

​Kendra McKune, MS, BS, RDH

Kendra has been in dentistry since she was 17 years old.  She has evolved from a dental assistant, clinical dental hygienist, dental hygiene educator, speaker, and product reviewer. Her passion is the oral systemic health link and expanding the scope of dental hygiene practice to increase quality of care to the public.  She is currently completing her Master of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Minnesota. Her thesis focuses on diabetes and interprofessional education. She enjoys volunteering at local and regional dental clinics and is active with the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and recently was voted Volunteer of the Year. She is a member of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene and American Academy of Oral Systemic Health. 

Lani McBeth, BSDH

Lani is a veteran dental hygienist with 31 years of clinical experience. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1981 with a BSDH. She was awarded both the top clinician and top table clinic of her class. In her career she has had the opportunity to work in both general and periodontal offices. She returned back to school to become a certified expanded function dental hygienist. Through the years she has held leadership  positions in her local component and received the Arizona Dental Hygienist of the Year. Most recently she has been an educator of a local anesthetic tool. She has personally been using American Eagle's XP Sharpen-Free instruments for the last 12 years and is excited to be on the clinical educator team to bring her knowledge and experience to other professionals. She currently holds memberships in the ADHA and the AAOSH.

Dara Flores, RDH, MS (c)

Since starting her career in dentistry over 10 years ago, Dara has acquired a strong passion for educating those in the dental hygiene profession. She graduated from Sinclair Community College where she received Hu-Friedy’s “Golden Scaler Award” for top clinical skills in her class. While working as a dental hygienist, Dara has obtained a BSDH from The Oregon Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Public and Community Health Education from The University of Cincinnati. She has spent her time as a hygienist in both clinical practice and as an adjunct instructor at her Alma Mater. Dara has taught a variety of courses to dental hygiene students including instrumentation, local anesthesia and intro to dental hygiene. She is a proud member of the ADHA and actively volunteers locally and aboard. Dara has been using American Eagle XP Sharpen-Free technology in the field for over 5 years. Through her own experiences she truly understands what quality instruments can do for clinicians and their patients. She is excited to share her knowledge of AEI with you!
