Karen Siebert, RDH, MA, Director of Clinical Education

Karen Siebert, RDH, MA is the Director of Clinical Education for American Eagle Instruments. Karen was previously adjunct faculty instructor at The College of Lake County just outside of Chicago. She has led numerous hands-on workshops featuring AEI's sharpen-free XP® Technology instruments over the past two years. Karen led a nationwide webinar CE, which was hosted by Pennwell, featuring the dangers of re-tipping dental hand instruments and has presented at RDH Under One Roof. Karen is a member of ADEA and ADHA. She is the Membership Chair for the Illinois DHA and Trustee for the Lake County DH Component. She is also the Screening Committee Chairwoman for the Northern Illinois Oral Cancer Foundation.

​Michele LaBasi, RDH, BS, MEd

Michele LaBasi, RDH, BS, MEd thrives on lifelong learning and loves to share helpful tips and information with others. She is a former full-time dental hygiene educator who divides her time between being a Clinical Educator for American Eagle Instruments, working in private practice and volunteering. Michele holds committee and council chair positions for her professional association at the component and constituent levels and is a District 10 Division Director for Toastmasters International. Michele is also a team leader for dental mission trips with Jamaica Outreach Program. In addition to volunteering, she takes pleasure in presenting CE courses, writing, and encouraging everyone to step outside their comfort zones. 

Stacy Deemer, RDH,

Stacy Deemer, RDH is based in Western Pennsylvania. She is the recipient of the Sunstar/Butler Award of Distinction in 2013. Stacy is the voice of the dental health professional on the Wellsville television show, which is a local TV show promoting children’s health and wellness. She isa professional Educator for Sunstar, and is Vice President for the Northwestern Pennsylvania DHA.

Dee Humphrey, RDH, BHSc

Dee Humphrey, RDH, BHSc has been infecting the masses with her contagious laughter and enthusiastic passion for Dental Hygiene. She has worked as a clinical dental hygienist and prevention specialist since 2010 in a Tribal Community Dental Clinic in Northeast Oklahoma and possesses significant expertise in the dental public health setting. Dee is an Author, Speaker, Influencer, who inspires and motivates people to take action and have faith. She has been published in RDH Magazine, and won the Oral Cancer Foundation “I am a part of the Change” Contest in 2015. Dee sits on the visionary Board of Directors for the National Cancer Network, is on the Crest & Oral B’s Smile Council, is an Educator for the Delaware County Community Partnership in Northeast Oklahoma, a member of the ADHA and the OKDHA.  

Kryssi McKeil, RDH

With more than 23 years in clinical practice, Kryssi McKiel has diversified her career in dentistry, working in various clinical settings from private practice to university clinical to periodontal specialty, initially as a Certified Dental Assistant and currently as a Registered Dental Hygienist.  She is privileged to have more than 11 years in her clinical practice in beautiful British Columbia, Canada and has added new dimensions to her career. Kryssi is a clinical educator, speaking for Straumann, American Eagle Instruments, and WaterPik and is also a writer, having been published in RDH Magazine. Kryssi is dedicated to improving oral health, understanding that continuing education is the gateway through which effective communication with her patients and dental colleagues can flourish. 

DeeAnne Ashcroft, BSDH, MPH

DeeAnne graduated from Loma Linda University in 1974 with a BSDH, and completed a Master's in Public Health from her Alma Mater 10 years later.  With 44 years in the field, DeeAnne has had the opportunity to develop expert clinical skills in a broad range of clinical practice settings, including General Practice, Prosthodontics and six 

From 2008-2015, DeeAnne achieved one of her lifetime career goals when she became Dental Hygiene Program Director for Carrington College-Portland. In additional to administrative duties, DeeAnne enjoyed teaching the didactic courses of General & Oral Pathology, Community Dental Health, Dental Specialties, Scientific Methods, Radiology and PreClinic.  DeeAnne now provides temp coverage for clinical dental hygiene and has enthusiastically embraced her most recent role with American Eagle Instruments, as a Clinical Educator. 

Over the years DeeAnne has been active in various leaderships positions, at the state and component level of the American Dental Hygienists' Association, along with membership in and currently serves as President of the Marion County Dental Hygiene Study Club.
